BioHi. My name's Natasha and I'm no longer terrified of LiveJournal. (Hi, Natasha!)
Below is far more than you probably ever needed to know about me.
I'm just a bottle-blonde, scruffy-haired, big-eyed, slightly unstable slacker with too many surreal thoughts in my head. I like paperclips and green eyeliner and apparently it's very difficult to tell when I'm joking.
I live and breathe slash, and couldn't care less how sad this makes me. I prefer the fantasy world to the real world, which tends to bore me. Am rarely happier than when reading Nick/Greg, HPDM or HPSS. I have been a slash-fan for about ten years and I see slashiness *everywhere* I mostly write for CSI and Harry Potter. I can't and won't write het fiction, it squicks me beyond all belief. My fics are archived at ff.net, the Hex Files, and WMTDB as well as LJ. If anyone wants to invite me to Skyehawke, I'd be ever so grateful.
I write mostly oneshots, occasional chapter-fics. I have no concept of reasonable chapter length, and look forward to the day when LJ will allow me to post a 15k chapter as intended, in one go. Pre-slash and UST delight me. Most of my stuff is romantic drama with humourous elements. Smut, fun, flangst... sure. But I don't like to kill, maim or emotionally cripple my boys. I prefer the sensual to the clinical. I like dialogue and unusual friendships.
Characterisation is terribly important to me. I might not always get it right, but blatant OOC makes me want to throw things. My slash will always feature *men* and realism where possible.
I am a shameless 23-year-old Harry Potter fan. I would have made a lovely Slytherin *sigh* Life is unfair.
Life is too short to drink bad coffee. Just say no to instant, kids. Auntie Tash will make you a lovely pot of Hawaiian. And so help me, put the milk and sugar *down*. Repent, repent!
I don't sleep a great deal. I can sleep when I'm dead. And when Coronation Street is on. Anything posted after I've been awake for over 48 hours is unlikely to be coherent.
I like to rant. Let's all rant together. Rants well received, on most topics. I'm a grumpy bastard, by all accounts.

Apparently, I'm 68% Slytherin, 28% Ravenclaw, 28% Gryffindor and 24% Hufflepuff. Which is 148%...heh.
